Our approach to treatment is holistic, and thus each patient will undergo a full biomechanical and postural assessment which helps in determining the source of the problem. Treatment will aim to address this aspect of the pain and thus minimise the future re-occurences. Rehabilitation exercises are part of this treatment approach which helps empower the patient to take control of their pain and become an active participant in their recovery.

TAMLYN GUEST

Tamlyn qualified from WITS in 2004, thereafter completed her community service in Pochefstroom. Since then she has been working in a dynamic sports and orthopaedic practice. She completed her post graduate course in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and is currently busy with her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at UCT. She's had the opportunity to travel as the physiotherapist for numerous South African sports teams over the years such as the, SA Men’s Indoor cricket team , SA Squash team, South African Youth Commonwealth Team, SA World Games team and most recently the SA Commonwealth team.

She's passionate about sports and is a keen marathon runner and has participated in numerous road and trail ultra marathons. She has a special love of dance which comes from the many years she studied Classical Ballet and completed her Advanced exam.

DHRITI VALLA_B_H    

Dhriti qualified from the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in 1999. She has 10 years of experience working at state and private hospitals as well as 2 very dynamic orthopaedic/ musculoskeletal out patient practices. She started her own independent orthopaedic practise in 2008. She has completed a post graduate course in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and has been a committee member of the OMTG (special interest group of the South African

Society of Physiotherapy) for 2 years. The committee organised and ran courses based on orthopaedic/manipulative physio, and more importantly promoted orthopaedic physio to fellow colleagues and other members of the medical community.
