Prolific Training - Lifestyle, Health & Fitness Training


Peri Zourides is the owner and head trainer of Prolific Training at Seven Star Energy Centre. He completed his Exercise Science studies from the Health and Fitness Professionals Association (HFPA) in 2008 and is also a Dragon Door certified HKC Kettlebell trainer.

He has a sports background in football and basketball, has been involved in traditional Chinese Martial Arts since 2000 and Kettlebell training since 2007. He works as a personal and group trainer, is a sports conditioning coach, martial arts instructor and corporate wellness facilitator.

Peri works with people to improve their physical and mental states through better movement and breathing patterns, increased sports and athletic performance and improved energy management principles for a well balanced life.

These goals are attained with a variety of different techniques such as Kettlebells, traditional Chinese Martial Arts, resistance training, balance and co-ordination movements, muscle activation, joint mobility, yoga and plyometrics.

Kettlebell Class Times and Prices


Beginner / Intermediate *

Mornings: Mon, Wed & Fri: 06:00 โ€“ 06:45

Evenings: Mon & Wed: 17:45 โ€“ 18:30

ยท       * An individual is required to attend a minimum of 3 private sessions to learn the fundamental movements unless they have already been instructed or gone through the Iron Body programme . The first session is free, the remaining privates cost R200 p/h

Upon completion of the private training a new individual may only join the classes at the beginning of the month when the workouts change. This is too alleviate having to teach people technique while others have to wait, as well as beginners possibly sustaining injury due to joining a hard workout or one that has progressed each week.

 

Advanced (A minimum of 4 - 6 months training in the beginner class is required before being allowed to train in the advanced class)


Evenings: Tues & Thurs : 17:45 โ€“ 18:30


 There are no Saturday Kettlebell classes


YMAA Members: R50 per class / Non YMAA Members: R60 per class

YMAA Members: 6 Month Contract (3 times per week) - R500 / 12 Month Contract (3 times per week) - R450

Non YMAA Members: 2 Times per week - R400 p/m / 3 Times per week - R500 p/m
